About My Puppies
The puppies are raised with my children, cats and other animals. They are handled, loved and spoiled from the day they are born. Puppies do not go home until they are 12 weeks. They will have a Neopar vaccination at 6 weeks and two sets of DA2PPv vaccines at 8 and 11 weeks, wormed (they are first wormed at 4 weeks and then every 2 weeks after that) and be vet checked. They will also be micro chipped. They are allowed to go to their new homes at 12 weeks (pet and show prospects). Some will stay until they are 6 months, to know for sure if they can be shown. They will be lead and table trained before they leave. My dogs/puppies are taken care of by the whole family. Everyone works very hard caring for them. All are kept in my home, I have no kennel. There are no "teacups"or "toys" in Chihuahuas. There is no such thing. A Chihuahua is a Chihuahua period. It's just a term some breeders use to charge you more for a runt that could have many health problems. The smallest dogs I have are 3 lbs. The AKC standard for size is 2 to 6 lbs. Six pounds is still a small dog. If you want a pocket pet, buy a hamster. Registration: My dogs are registered with AKC. You're puppy is registered and will come with appropriate papers. I will go over and help you in filling these out. If puppy is sold on a limited registration, it must be spayed/neutered. Registration papers will not be provided until proof is sent to the seller from the veterinarian.
If the buyer can not care for, afford or any other reason that may be used for giving or selling of the puppy/dog, the buyer must return the puppy to me and I will find a good home or keep it with me.
Email to get on my waiting list and let me know what you are looking for:)
Shipping My fee for air shipping is $300. Shipping costs include the airline ticket, cost of crate, a vet issued certificate of health and cost of puppy's health check. Temperature permitting. I ship with Northwest and Continental. I will not ship a puppy under 12 weeks of age or less than two pounds in weight. No exceptions. It can sometimes be affordable to fly round trip in a single day and take the puppy as a carry on with you.
Health Guarantee (click on for more information) There is 72 hour vet check guarantee. I do not guarantee the size or color of any puppy.
Registration Limited AKC Registration: Puppies will be sold as "pets" on "limited" AKC Registration. This means that the puppies sold will be AKC registered, but not be used in any type of breeding program. The puppy will need to be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age (6 months). Full AKC Registration: Full registration gives the buyer the ability to breed, show, and register the off spring with the American Kennel Club. Only pups that are show/ breeding quality will be offered with full registration. Many of those will be here until they are 6 months old.
All pet puppies are sold with limited registration and must be nuetered/spayed. If puppies are old enough before they leave I will have this done.
Purchasing A Puppy Deposits can be made by check, cash or money order . A deposit will hold the puppy until it is ready to go home. Once contacting me about a pup I will hold it for 7 days until the payment comes in. If I don't receive the deposit in that time the pup will become available again. All deposits are non refundable. Final payment must be cash (or money order if being shipped). If the pup is being shipped I will also take a check but it will have to clear before the puppy will be shipped. I DO NOT accept pay pal. When inquiring about a puppy tell me a little bit about yourself ( your family, other pets) and what kind of home the puppy will have. If you rent make sure dogs are allowed. Also let me know if you are looking for a show prospect or a pet. Although I would like all my show potential pups to be in show homes, it is more important to me that they be in a loving home. If a show home is not available I will pet them out to the right family. Please remember that a Chihuahua can live to about 15 years. Make sure that you are ready for that responsibility before you decide to make one part of your family.
